Learning & Development Onboarding Specialist Requirements : BA/BS in training, development, or related field; 5 years of development experience with a proven track record is ideal.

Financial services experience is preferred.

Excellent written communication, interpersonal communication, and instructional skills are vital.

Must have established organizational skills, keen attention to detail, consumer first mentality, ability to think both creatively and strategically, and be adaptable and fluent through change in a growing organization.

Thrives in a fast-paced, ever changing environment.

Familiar with eLearning tools and courseware a plus.

Summary of job description : Supports the development of team members by designing and delivering a comprehensive catalog of engaging and effective in-person, virtual, and online sessions for participants at all levels.

Demonstrates passion, energy, and genuine enthusiasm for developing people and contributing to their career success.

Designs onboarding programs and plans for all new hires and executes against a defined onboarding schedule.

Develops and conducts surveys and has regular check-ins to ensure a smooth team member transition into their role with the organization; gathers feedback on the experience, creates action plans based on feedback.

Develops tools, resources, materials, and refresher sessions/meetings to boost learning.

Collaborates with managers and subject matter experts across the organization to stay up to date on current projects and ensure accuracy of learning content.

Solutions-focused and innovative team member who can quickly adapt in response to evolving training needs, organizational changes, and constructive feedback.

Supports Credit Union and department goals to drive favorable learning outcomes.

Tracks, monitors, evaluates, reports on, and proposes recommendations for onboarding and department-wide programs.

Identifies individual and organizational training needs; partners with management/supervisors for continual feedback and refinements of efforts and discovery of additional learning needs.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Must understand and comply with all required federal and state regulations associated with this position.

Must be able to speak and understand fluent English.
