Digital Marketing Strategist – Remote


This is a Full-time position in Cleveland, OH posted May 1, 2021.

As an Elite HubSpot partner agency, Lynton works with some of the best and brightest organizations looking to grow with their HubSpot growth stack. In a nutshell, this role is an analytical thought leader with a knack for inbound marketing and thorough experience in HubSpot. This role requires a strategic marketing guru who loves to solve problems for others and who enjoys digging into data to make sound recommendations regarding SEO, buyer personals, content calendars, social media, paid search, etc., allowing our clients to utilize their budget for maximum impact. A majority of their time will be spent strategizing and communicating internally, but a portion of the role is also client-facing (communicating with clients via Zoom calls, email and phone) to first-hand understand our clients? needs and bring them to life.

Key responsibilities:

  • Be a thought leader, not an order taker. Provide short and long term vision & strategy to clients after thorough research into industry, competitors, trends and news, then work with the internal team and freelancers to deliver on the strategy.
  • Set and track goals by understanding what key performance indicators are important to the client.
  • Dig into data, including but not limited to, HubSpot reports, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Moz. Analyze and share findings during client meetings. Discuss what is going well and what needs improvements to make data-driven recommendations.
  • Stay educated on evolving inbound marketing and HubSpot trends. Take time to learn something new that excites you.
  • Assist in maintaining detailed project documentation, including the client-facing roadmap (timeline, interdependencies, budget, and approved implementation strategy)
  • Assist in technology integration strategy to help clients reach their marketing and sales goals and establish closed-loop reporting.
  • Advise clients on the most efficient and effective use of the project budget, while keeping a close eye on project profitability for the company
  • Connect with clients regularly throughout a project to offer five-star support, further understand their needs, identify threats and opportunities
  • Collaboration with internal team members to understand what is needed from the client, identify risks and opportunities, and improve processes
  • Operate inside a team-based environment with an emphasis on the engagement of internal resources and open sharing of skills and information
  • Contribute to and promote teamwork in a remote working environment.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor?s degree in business or marketing, or proven equivalent industry experience with Inbound Marketing
  • Professional experience building inbound marketing plans
  • Hands-on HubSpot experience (Marketing Hub required, Sales and Service Hubs are a bonus)
  • Professional consulting (client-facing) experience with accountability for results/outcomes, including managing dynamic priorities across multiple clients is a plus
  • Agency experience is a plus
  • Fluency in other languages is a plus
  • Experience working remotely is a plus

Professional references required including prior managers. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
