Entry Level Electronic Positions – Paid Training

Positions include: Assembly, Inspection, Soldering & SMT
Candidates will be trained in one of the following areas:

• Assembly Summary: Responsible for the electromechanical assembly process for fabricating the enclosure and installing the subassemblies, components, routing cabling and wire harnesses.
• Inspection Summary: Responsible for the inspection of electronic materials and assemblies for conformance to established specifications using an Automated Optical Inspection machine.
• Soldering Summary: Responsible for the inspection and rework of electronic materials and assemblies for conformance to established specifications.
• SMT Summary: Responsible for loading materials into machines for production, adjusting machine speeds during production and inspecting the objects produced.

Team Member is considered certified at the skilled level because all items below have been verified at the basic understanding level.

Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by Team Member to successfully perform of the essential functions of this job.

Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Constantly reach, do repetitive motions 90-100% of the time; frequently balance, lift, 60-90% of the time; Occasionally stoop, talk, hear 30-60% of the time, Rarely crouch 0-30% of the time.

Visual Acuity: The Team member is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities for operation of machines, including visual inspection, using measurement devices; and/or assembly of parts at distances close to the eyes. Ability or increased ability to see color, or perceive color differences, under normal lighting conditions.

Work Environment: The Team member is subject to inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not room temperature changes, there is sufficient noise to cause the worker to increase volume in order to be heard above ambient noise level, hazards from moving mechanical parts.

The Team Member is required to work overtime on a constant basis.

Shifts:

• 1^st Shift 6 am 2:30 pm
• 2^nd Shift 2:30 pm 11 pm

Pay Rate: $11/hour
