Technical Solutions Engineer

Apex Systems is looking for a Technical Solutions Engineerfor one of our large clients in Cincinnati, OH.

The Technical Solution Engineer will be responsible for the following activities: Collaborate with the Product Owner/Ops Leader to understand the requirements and create a detailed solution design for technical projects or enhancements that result in a solution that is compliant and works within the boundaries of time/budget considerations.

Collaborate with the Product Owner/Compliance and Security teams to understand CMMC requirements and what technical solutions are most feasible to mitigate the concerns identified.

Translate requirements into a detailed technical design elements, in partnership with the team who will perform the changes or improvements.

This will be done using Agile principles to translate solutions into detailed user stories.

Identify the solution aspects, teams involved, testing plans needed to support of the project Help resolve any issues identified during testing and continuously updated related documentation.

Partners with the Ops Leader to assess transfer to operation (TTO) requirements and transition plans Support RCA activities that require solution design to implement Oral and written communication skills as well as real-world experience are critical.

A strong commitment to getting the job done right, collaborating across multiple stakeholders and acting with speed is vital.

General Responsibilities: Select the optimal technology solutions for implementation given requirements, timeline and budget Design, Implement, and drive testing strategies in support of projects and enhancements Ability to architect solutions for activities such as disaster recovery, encryption, user provisioning, secure infrastructure (i.e.

AWS Gov) and product enhancements Excellent leadership skills (leading, influencing experience) and the technical coaching of others.

Leverage Agile development and/or management methodologies, along with applying Lean concepts such as Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions Ability to attend project status calls and report on status Ability to recommend quality assurance strategies Occasional EST and weekend support for releases Basic Qualifications: Recommended: Basic knowledge of ERP Infrastructure Recommended: Familiarity with integration technologies Recommended: Experience with Agile project delivery frameworks Recommended: Experience with Amazon Web Services storage solutions Recommended: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Recommended: Self-driven to learn new technology and build technical skillsetRecommended: Skillsets needed to support MRO ERP Applications: Forms 4.5 Oracle Forms 12c Oracle Forms USER_EXIT development Reports 2.5 Oracle 12.3.3 db Informatica Appworx SQL PL/SQL Oracle ERP Developing PL/SQL packages and procedures with an Oracle Database Generating emails using PL/SQL SQL tuning Shell scripting Oracle Reports development Working with JAVA API interactions with Oracle is preferred Pro C Development integrating with Oracle Forms is a plus ERS/SFE skillsets: PowerBuilder 2018 Web methods Informatica Shell scripting Required Qualifications: Required: Experience with technical solution architecture or technical solution engineering (preferred in an ERP environment) Required: Strong working knowledge of ERP technologies and ERP business processes Required: Demonstrated experience translating a technical solution into a detailed technical project plan Required: Demonstrated ability to take complex problems and requirements and translate them into practical solutions Required: Demonstrated ability to take problems and apply problem solving to drive permanent corrective solutions in a Lean manner Required: Occasional weekend support for releases or high priority Ops Support P1 outages Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college Minimum 8 years of IT or equivalent experience leading complex, diverse enterprise projects Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 8 years, or equivalent years, of technical experience along with established leadership credentials across disciplines and functions within a product Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain complex assembly, MRO or manufacturing business processes and their supporting software products with strong experience in shop floor execution Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
