Supply Chain Logistics Specialist Position Available
– Anna, OH Kelly Services is currently seeking a long term Supply Chain Specialist for one of their largest automotive clients in the Anna, OH area.

This will be a B-Shift/Off Shift role.

About this position (Summary description of position) 1.

Performs supply chain and logistics functions, which includes frame plant production review and determination of corresponding shipments, inventory control of finished goods, fiscal/physical inventory, container management and distribution.


Link between the Anna Plant operations and customer operations.

Ensure logistical processing meets customer requirements.

Plan and organize movement through supply chain by working with internal departments, suppliers, US and Canadian Customs, and multiple frame plants.

Promotes alignment by understanding customer needs and requirements throughout the organization.


Focuses on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various stages of the supply chain.

Establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.

Your responsibilities: 1.

Coordinate shipping to frame plants.


Negotiate and interact with Manufacturing departments, Purchasing, Production Control, Spec Control and the onsite Consolidation Center service provider to ensure that daily production meets needs.


Assist over the road drivers and ensure shipment to correct destinations.

(Frame plants, docks, suppliers, etc Ensure timely deliveries to our customers and insure process flows of new parts.


Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the Engine Assembly Department, Frame Plants, Corporate IS, Production Control, Logistics and Consolidation Center departments.


Shipping document issuance and control for Frame plant shipments.


Ensure documentation compliant with all government regulations.


Communicate challenges and develop immediate countermeasures.


Complete problem analysis, paperwork and reports for review by manager.


Ensure no impact to upstream or downstream customers.


Monitor and manage shipments to frame plants based upon critical ship timing.


Create Supplier shipping documents meeting all Honda and Government regulations.


Manage and input data to ensure logistics company trailer load direction is accurate.


Run production ship schedules for frame plants to assist in daily and future shipping demand.


Support Physical Inventory activities 15.

Customs documentation development and control.

Required Work Experience: (Minimum amount (months or years) of relevant experience required to be considered for the role) 1 – 4 years of relevant experience based on education (shipping and Receiving, Logistics, Supply Chain) Why Kelly ® ?
