The YMCA is hiring a Director of Business Analytics, who will be responsible for studying market conditions in order to forecast & monitor trends to successfully drive & impact business decisions to position the Y as a community asset in youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Knowledge of applicable statistical software/databases, data collection methods/management, & Microsoft Office.

Ability to provide data visualization, statistical modeling, & probability models.

Excellent contemporary presentation skills.

Strong analytical & critical thinking skills.

Essential Functions
Using modern and traditional methods, devise & evaluate various procedures for collecting requested data and consumer trend data.

Interpret & analyze data.

Formulate & prepare reports on findings while illustrating data with graphs and translating complex results into written texts that are clear and understandable.

Make recommendations based on analytics for actionable strategic plans.

Collect & analyze data regarding consumer preferences, demographics, usage habits & needs/wants to better identify market potential, and factors influencing demand.

Gather information on competitors, & conduct analysis on their sales, prices and methods of distribution & marketing.

Use data in making strategic plans and the best way to impact the greater Cincinnati region.

Track & forecast trends in sales, marketing and communication.

Analyze in detail the data collected to provide management with probability reports & results.

Use collected data to identify the needs of the communities and measure the effectiveness of services provided to make recommendations for change/direction for optimum effectiveness.

Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather information and understand impact to staff & programs.
