As the Senior Manager, Information Security, your essential job functions will include the following:
Establish and maintain an enterprise-wide approach to successful and effective data security to ensure information assets are adequately protected.

Serve as the process owner of all assurance activities related to the availability, integrity and confidentiality of customer, business partner, employee and business information in compliance with the organization’s information security policies.

Collaborate with executive management to determine acceptable levels of risk for the organization.

Maintain a comprehensive matrix of customer and supplier contractual data handling and information security requirements for each Dealer Tire company and ensure current policies meet or exceed requirements.

Full line management responsibilities for information security, data handling, and cybersecurity governance, tools, and processes.
Centralized Cybersecurity Organization
Manage a centralized cybersecurity organization, as a shared service, to effectively enforce security controls across all Dealer Tire companies.

Maintain and update Dealer Tire’s Cyber Risk Management framework with associated risk assessment processes and governance structures across all Dealer Tire companies.

Ensure regular testing of incident response capabilities.

Maintain an Incident Response plan and Data Breach notification policy across all Dealer Tire companies.

Facilitate and manage an enterprise-wide approach to the successful acquisition, integration, implementation and divestiture of security technology components to meet the needs of the organization.

Enforce a Sensitive Data Handling Policy (PII) across all Dealer Tire companies.

Establish a system security policy for securing on-premises/hosted platforms, cloud-based environments, and cloud-based applications (, O365, etc.) across all Dealer Tire companies.

Ensure PCI-DSS compliance for all Dealer Tire companies that process credit cards.

Ensure regular reviews of security tools to ensure proper configuration and adherence to security policies.

Enterprise Security Solutions Facilitation
 Manage Security Continuous Monitoring including anomaly and event detection across all Dealer Tire companies, as deemed appropriate.

Implement a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution set across all Dealer Tire companies, as deemed appropriate.

Implement Identity Management, Authentication, and Access Control solutions sets, including Privileged Access Management (PAM), across all Dealer Tire companies.

Enforce a formalized Security Awareness and Training program across all Dealer Tire companies.

Institute a Secure SDLC process including best practices for developing secure applications and automated security code reviews across all Dealer Tire companies.

Establish a schedule for regular vulnerability scans and third-party penetration tests of critical business systems across all Dealer Tire companies.

Establish IDS/IPS (intrusion detection and prevention systems) across all Dealer Tire companies.

Establish a SIEM (security information and event management system) with standard logging policies across all Dealer Tire companies.

Business Cybersecurity Planning & Delivery
Plan the strategic direction of Information Security controls to meet each of the enterprise business’ strategic goals.

Utilizing business and technical knowledge and judgment, develop strategic plans appropriate for each business to ensure the desired level of cybersecurity controls.  Conduct vendor evaluations prior to selection for products and / or services.

Develop vendor contracts that protect Dealer Tire.

Oversee the management of all vendors for quality, cost, and contractual compliance.

Identify and champion the introduction of new security methods, approaches, and technologies that will bring significant value to the organization.

Establish, communicate, and manage a shared-services budget for cybersecurity.

Business Partnership & Relationship Management
Proactively develop and maintain solid working relationships with associates.  Build knowledge of each business in terms of customers, markets, work processes, finances and culture, both personally and with team members.  Educate the business in terms of their role in the success of Information Security policies to protect Dealer Tire and our customers in day to day activities and projects.

Build supportive relationships with all parts of the business, developing strong communication links.


Line Management
Responsible for recruiting, selecting, hiring, developing, goal setting, coaching, and reviewing the performance of, IT staff in support of the above responsibilities.  Lead, plan, organize, delegate, track and report on all information security activities including both that of in-house staff as well as external vendors.

Identify and plan skill development with each staff member.  As a member of the Information Technology senior leadership team, provide both technical and managerial advice, make decisions and provide recommendations for effective and efficient information technology delivery to Dealer Tire and its businesses.

Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology or related field preferred, or experience in lieu of Must have minimum of ten (10) years of Information Technology and business experience 7+ years managing technical large-scale projects Experience with managing distributed applications in a client / server environment (preferably AS/400, DB2, SQL and J.


Edwards software) is desired Knowledge of common information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, and NIST Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management including managed services Understanding of Agile (scaled) software development or other best in class development practices Experience securing and hardening Cloud computing/Elastic computing across virtualized environments Demonstrated business acumen and judgment Proven background in developing and managing and Information Technology budget Strong communicator and team player with a focus towards customer service Automotive Industry experience is a plus Results Orientation Agility Initiative Influence Customer Focus
Physical Job Requirements
Continuous viewing from and inputting data to a computer screen.

Sitting for long periods of time.

Travel as needed.
